Lenovo signs as Ducati Team’s MotoGP technology partner

Milan, 5th April 2018 – Lenovo has signed a multi-year sponsorship deal with the Ducati Team competing in the MotoGP World Championship, continuing the company’s ambitions to become one of the world’s most admired and globally recognized brands.  Starting with the 2018 season, Lenovo will be the key technology partner for Ducati, which will include the team using Lenovo’s PCs, tablets and servers both on and off the track.

LENOVO NAMES MATTHEW ZIELINSKI NEW PRESIDENT NORTH AMERICA

Matt joins Lenovo from AMD where he spent the last 12 years in a number of key global sales leadership roles. Most recently, Matt was the Corporate Vice President and General Manager, head of worldwide OEM sales at AMD. He was responsible for leading AMD’s end-to-end efforts for all strategic OEMs, as well as global responsibility for end-user sales through all consumer and commercial routes to market. During his tenure at AMD, he secured the largest commercial PC portfolio in AMD’s history.

Lenovo's Three-Wave Strategy Delivers Strong Revenue and Earnings in Third Quarter FY2017/18

HONG KONG, February 1, 2018 – Lenovo Group (HKSE: 992) (ADR: LNVGY) today announced results for its third fiscal quarter ended December 31, 2017. Revenue was US$12.9 billion, a 6.3 percent increase year-over-year, and 10 percent increase over the second fiscal quarter of FY2017/18. Lenovo continued to enjoy significant revenue gains in PCs and smart devices (PCSD) and the Data Center Group (DCG). Lenovo’s Mobile Business Group (MBG) performed as expected for the quarter. Lenovo showed strong pre-tax income growth in the quarter, up sharply to US$150 million, a four-fold increase from last quarter, and nearly a 50 percent jump from the same period a year earlier.

Fujitsu, Lenovo and DBJ form PC Joint Venture

(“DBJ”) today announced a strategic collaboration that creates a joint venture between the three companies. Lenovo Delivers Solid Revenue Growth in Second Quarter FY 2017/18

TOKYO, November 2, 2017 – Lenovo Group (HKSE: 992) (ADR: LNVGY) today announced results for its second fiscal quarter ended September 30, 2017. Revenue was US$11.8 billion, a 5 percent increase year-over-year, and an 18 percent increase over the first fiscal quarter. Quarter-to-quarter revenue gains were achieved in all three of its main businesses, namely data center, mobile, and PCs and smart devices, demonstrating that strong execution of Lenovo’s three-wave strategy is producing consistently improving results across its portfolio. In the second fiscal quarter, Lenovo’s pre-tax income grew by US$104 million, rebounding significantly from the previous quarter’s loss.

LENOVO ANNOUNCES FOURTH QUARTER AND FULL YEAR 2016/17 RESULTS

  • Good progress with new three-wave strategy in a year of transformation
